Get this game it's a must-have for strategists and all PC owners. The game has not yet became broing yet and it's almost endless fun. You get to use mythological creatures that always strengthen your armies. You pray for other sub-gods along the way who enhance your civilisation. You have to advance through different ages to gain the best buildings and units in the game.
The god powers can be from rain to help food grow to tornadoes and earthquakes. Certain gods have certain units and specialitites. Each of these has 2 seperate gods that you can choose to follow in your conquest. This will let you endorse yourself for hours and hours following the story. This game has 32 campaign missions without the titans or anyother expansion pack.
You can create your own scenarios using this and it's a real plus side to the game. The editor is amazing and it let's you build armies of thousand to fight and aid eachother.
In addition, you can download extra campiagn packs and loads of add ons to enhance the whole AOM experience. I spent hours on campaign and I always like versing 11 other empires on a single player "skirmish". The game has many modes including campaign and random map. The sound effects are pretty good aswell and the sound of a crumbling wall and crashing towers add to the atmosphere of the game.
The exquisite scenery and realistic units really make the game more enjoyable. The first thing I noticed when I played the tutorial was the attention to detail in the graphics of the game. After quickly scanning the case, I insterted the disc and started installing it. I like most strategy PC games and the introduction of mythology made me all the more exhilerated when I ripped of the plastic seal. By skablade | Review Date: AOM was a title I eagerly awaited.
